The report is the result of a collaboration between the Gallup polling firm, the Oxford Wellbeing Research Center, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and the Report’s Editorial Board

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reported that Mexico is among of the 10 happiest countries in the world, according to the World Happiness Report 2025. She explained that this is a reflection of the empowerment of the Mexican people.

“Yesterday I saw that Mexico entered tenth place in the Top 10 happiest people in the world. That speaks of the empowerment of the people, this World Happiness Report,” she said during the morning presidential press conference, known as the “mañanera”.
Mexico is ranked ten in this list in which countries such as Finland, Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden appear among the first places.
The report, whose publication coincides with the International Happiness Day (March 20), is the result of a collaboration between the Gallup polling firm, the Oxford Wellbeing Research Center, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and the Report’s Editorial Board.
