“Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos" Breaks Record. The Ministry of Tourism reported that the event exceeded expectations and marked a historic milestone

Mexico is full of extraordinary places, and to promote them, the National "Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos," in its sixth edition, set a participation record, exceeding expectations and marking a milestone in the history of this sector's celebration, said Miguel Torruco Marqués, head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur).

He highlighted that 177 Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns), 34 Barrios Mágicos (Magical Neighborhoods), and 32 states participated both in person and digitally, with 2,415 exhibitors and 215 buyers from Mexico and the United States.
Additionally, 14,945 business meetings took place, involving 20 strategic partners, chambers and associations, and 65,100 visitors.
The event also generated an estimated economic impact at the venue of 59 million pesos, 43.1 million pesos in transactions, and 16 million pesos from business deals.

This, he clarified, represents around 10 percent of the amount voluntarily reported by respondents who requested confidentiality.

Miguel Torruco also mentioned that the event achieved wide media coverage through the promotion platform "Visit Mexico" and "Pueblos Mágicos," as well as Mexico Desconocido, and on popular social media platforms: Facebook, X, and Instagram.
In addition, more than 50 media outlets and influencers were present.
