President Sheinbaum sends forest firefighter’s team to Los Angeles to help combat fires
The team comprises members of CONAFOR (Mexican National Forest Commission) and the Mexican National Army

Mexico’s President, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, announced that she will send a special forest fighting team in order to help in the fire control that is affecting Los Angeles, California witch is the largest fire disaster in its history.

The individuals are part of CONAFOR (Mexican National Forest Commission) and the Mexican National Army.
She added that the U.S. and California governments thank Mexico for the helped offered and are just waiting for the immigration procedures to advance so the teams can be on their way.
For his part, the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, reported this afternoon that more than 10,000 personnel “are already on the ground” and expressed his gratitude to President Claudia Sheinbaum for joining the work being carried out in Los Angeles to put out forest fires.
