On its X account, IME shared an invitation from the Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE). The invitation is for an informational forum scheduled for November 15, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Central Mexico Time). This forum will focus on the political and electoral rights of migrant and expatriate women.
The event will occur online, and participants must register using the following link. Once approved, they will receive email instructions on how to join the event.

According to data from the Institute for Mexicans Abroad, Mexican women represent 49% of all Mexican nationals living in the United States, totaling over 18 million individuals (not all of whom are of voting age). They retain their Mexican citizenship, contribute to strengthening democracy, and can participate in significant political decisions in Mexico, even while residing abroad.
