BBVA México Opens Office in Houston, Texas

BBVA México, the largest financial group in the country, is going all in on company relocation, expanding its operations into the United States with the opening of its first national banking office specialized in nearshoring.

This new representative office of the bank's Business and Government Banking division is located in Houston, Texas, a region known for its industrial diversity focused on aerospace, manufacturing, energy, biotechnology, digital technology, and logistics and transportation.

Víctor Rojas Fernández, director of the office, highlighted that the strategy aims to attract around 65 foreign companies in the first year of operations at the new office.

He explained that the new location offers investment advice, financial tools, and access to the supply chain of the financial institution, which has one million business clients in Mexico.

"This will allow us to provide guidance, assist with their procedures and operational requirements, offering them a smooth entry into the country," he emphasized.
